Alamo Labs TPH Analysis
Hydrocarbons are what make up the composition of oil and when oil spills occur Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH) analysis is used to determine the level of contamination present in the medium (e.g. Soil). In order to consider a medium remediated the TPH levels must fall below the requirements established by the regulatory body that governs the area where the spill occurs. TPH analysis was conducted on samples of oil well cuttings and soil to show BGX’s ability to reduce hydrocarbons present in a medium through means of separation. Reductions as high as 97% of hydrocarbons present can be seen when treated with BGX, these results and a more detailed description can be found below.
